JANUARY 22, WEEK 3—COGENCE GROUP — Forensic Accounting — Legal perspective Early Career Success, how does that happen? Jay Sickler, is an OSU grad and founder of Cogence Group, a specialized financial forensics firm in Portland. He will be talking about early career success, and how to make that success happen. Jay has worked in inter- national accounting firms on two continents, and over the past 20 years in Portland he has established himself as the top expert witness in the areas of financial forensics and business valuation. He has testified as an expert in more than 100 cases. After 30 years of professional experience, he knows what it takes to make it in both very large and very small firms.

(See attached flyer) The Business Systems Directorate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is looking for summer interns with a strong background in accounting, finance, contract management, or general business. Each of these positions is paid and consists of one or more rotational assignments in the Financial Operations, Contracts or Business Office functions.
Each successful candidate will be involved in a 13 week summer internship program with an opportunity to present in front of top management at our corporate location in Columbus, Ohio. Interns will be introduced and trained on multiple computer programs and various business systems throughout the summer.
