The OSU IMA club can send 2 to 3 students to the IMA Conference each year (fully paid by the IMA).

This year the conference is in St Louis at the Hilton St Louis at the Ballpark – November 1-3.

Scholarship
10 CMA Scholarships are available to students and announce this at the next BAP/IMA meeting. The benefits include:
IMA membership for up to 3 years while pursuing completion of the CMA exam Entrance fee to the CMA program
Exam Support Package – an assessment tool that can help assess the content covered on the CMA exam
Registration fees for the first attempt at both parts of the CMA exam
Wiley CMAexcel Review Course – comprehensive online materials for both exam parts (U.S. students only. Wiley materials must be claimed within 1 year, or the offer will expire.)

The CMA Scholarship is activated at the time a nominee joins IMA and registers for the CMA Program. The scholarship recipient has up to 3 years to successfully complete both parts of the CMA exam.

INTERNSHIP
MECOP — internships for your major that are for this summer/fall.  We had some companies ask for additional interns for 6 month MECOP internships.  These are very well paid internships that are for summer/fall  (Mid June – Mid Dec.)  Student graduating this spring term are eligible.   Many of these companies hire right out of the internships.  Student should contact me and have an updated resume they can send in.  dan.schwab@oregonstate.edu or they can call 541-737-3716 and make an advising appointment to discuss in detail.  These are immediate fills starting this summer.

1. STUDENT CLERICAL POSITION
The University Administrative Business Center (UABC) has an opening for another student worker.  This position is an opportunity in an accounting office to gain exposure to accounts payable/invoice entry, journal vouchers, purchasing card distributions, and customer services, as well as, clerical tasks such as filing, courier, scanning and special projects.  Up to 20 hours per week during school; potential for 40 hours per week over the summer.
