We have had some very recent changes to the terms ACTG classes will be taught in the fall. Registrations begins this weekend.
· Currently, only section 001, CRN 13921 of ACTG 378 is coded for accountancy students in the fall. This course is offered multiple terms.
· ACTG 424 will only be taught in the fall; NOT in the winter or spring.
· ACTG 420 has been moved from winter to fall term. Will NOT be taught in the winter or spring.
· One section of ACTG 417 has been moved to fall term from winter.
ACTG 417 Advanced Accounting will now offer a fall section in addition to a winter section. This is a required class for some Accounting majors and an elective for others…check your MyDegrees to find out.
As always, check in with your advisor on a regular basis.

Leadership & Scholarship Opportunities
1. The OSU IMA club can send 2 to 3 students to the IMA Conference each year (fully paid by the IMA).
This year the conference is in St Louis at the Hilton St Louis at the Ballpark – November 1-3.

Scholarship
10 CMA Scholarships are available to students and announce this at the next BAP/IMA meeting. 1. Accounting students interested in working on campus? The posting closes on 6/1/2018. The position is more bookkeeping than accounting per se but I think it helps to gain experience working with a FIS system and learning to code the data that will eventually end up on the financial reports. I will get this announcement into This Week in Business as well.

This position will provide data entry support for accounts payable such as invoices, reimbursements, journal vouchers, and procurement requests; scan documents into document an archival system; delivery and/or pickup of documents as needed in various offices or units on campus; special projects as identified.
