Available scholarships for students vary from year to year, but we generally have over a dozen scholarships ranging from $1,000 to the full cost of tuition. Our scholarships are typically awarded based on merit. Michelle Maller is hosting a Recruiting day coming up and wanted to invite the Accounting and Finance students. “We are holding our annual Recruiting Days event (http://owic.oregonstate.edu/renewable-materials-recruiting-days ) on March 1st and 2nd and I would like to have 5-10 business students participants.
In the past, students who attended this event had a great experience and were able to secure internships and sometimes were even offered jobs. The industry I am working with has identified business students as an area they would like to recruit from.

The Coaching Program is an opportunity for students and CPA candidate members to meet with an experienced CPA who can help answer their questions about the accounting profession. Participants will learn more about the day-to-day duties of a CPA, refine interview and resume skills, and start building their professional network. The program runs May 1 – August 31, 2018.
Who qualifies to participate?
OSCPA members, including CPA candidates who graduated in 2017 (01/01/2017 – 12/31/2017) and students who are in their junior or senior year or in a post-baccalaureate or master’s program, are eligible to be matched with a coach.
