Leadership Opportunities:
1. From Brooks Peacock (download and read attached document for details about this opportunity)
I think I will need about three (3) students for each project. If a student performs well they can participate in all three projects, but there isn’t a requirement to participate in more than one.
Each student should plan on about 30 hours of work per project. Part A will run during winter 2017, part b will run during spring 2017, and part c will run during the summer of 2017.
Part A & B will be completed here on campus. Part C will most likely be completed on-site at Mutual of Enumclaw during the summer.
I want to interview each interested student either in-person or over the phone. Any interested students should contact me via email, brooks.peacock@bus.
2. Opportunity:
Every year, we host a one-day program called Explore geared toward freshmen, sophomores, and first-quarter juniors who are considering a business or accounting-related major or looking for more information on a career in public accounting. The day is aimed to teach about the profession, network with PwC professionals, and develop leadership and teamworking skills. This year, the event will be held on Tuesday, December 13 from 10:00am to 4:00pm in our office in Portland. Applications are open, and the deadline to apply is Monday, December 5th.
PwC’s Explore program is an opportunity you can’t miss!

Not only will participation help cultivate these important characteristics, but it also provides a great networking forum with other students and PwC partners, principals, and staff.
